Little Spoon unboxing
I really wanted to give my daughter fresh organic purees but as a fun time working mom, I don't have the time to make the food myself. I turned to a subscription baby food services but after trying out a couple, I settled on Little Spoon. Having freshly made food and exposing her to as many different foods as possible was very important to me. My son ended up being a very picky eater which I suspect was due to me not diversifying his palate and stuck with the safe foods like sweet potato, squash, and a lot of fruit.
To maximize the value, I purchased the 3 packs a day for 2 weeks or 42 pack of baby food at $115.50 plus $5 shipping (about $2.75 per pack). If you know your baby can't eat all of it in 2 weeks, you can freeze the extra packs for 3 months and take each one out as you need it.
When it comes to the quality of the food, it's great!! The colors looks appropriate to the freshness and they are delicious. My daughter has tried all the flavors that are smooth blend to moderately textured and there are a few she does not like. Pretty much anything with banana she hates because I think it's too sweet.
Is this worth it?
For me.... YES. I work full time and I don't have time to make a bunch of purees to freeze.
